Shelly Masenoir Shelly Masenoir
Originally from Baltimore, MD, Shelly is a dancer, singer, teacher, television producer and choreographer and teacher in New York City. Her performing credits include Disney, Radio City Music Hall, Warner Brothers Films, Kings Productions, Off-Broadway and Regional Theatre, International Arts Festival in Italy, National and European Tours including "Fame, the Musical", Bye Bye Birdie, and West Side Story. Shelly was also the dance captain and assistant choreographer for "Falco", a new Vegas- style show in Vienna, Austria based on the late 80's pop star. She has been on the creative teams of operas such as Candide, Samson and Delilah and Aida, also as associate choreographer and dance captain. Shelly's television appearances include dancing for MTV, CBS, ABC, Saturday Night Live, The Today Show, David Letterman, The Learning Channel, Lou Bega's "Mambo #5" and "Broadway Bares" with director Jerry Mitchell. Shelly has 15 years of deep and diverse teaching experience with all levels and ages. She has taught at various studios around the US, Europe, Japan, Broadway Dance Center in New York and continues to travel around the country for master classes, choreography, and private instruction. She is currently developing a workshop in NYC, for Young Dancers to find their identities as Choreographers.




Andrew Palermo Andrew Palermo
is the Co-Artistic Director of dre.dance, a NYC based contemporary dance company that he helms with childhood friend, Taye Diggs. The New York Times says dre.dance "fuses passion with athleticism", while giving dancers "... the chance to act and move simultaneously in an evocation of life's throwaway activities...". The New Yorker says dre.dance is "quickly earning a reputation for powerful dancing". For more info go to www.dredance.com. Outside of dre.dance, Andrew's stage choreography credits include Great Joy at New Amsterdam Theatre, Kristin Chenoweth at Carnegie Hall, X'Posed/Jai Rodriquez at Hudson Theatre, Journey to the West at 37 Arts, New York City Festival of Dance 2005 featuring Idina Menzel, 1969 A Year in Review at Douglas Fairbanks Theatre, ACE at The Old Globe, Repertory Theatre of St. Louis and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Bright Lights, Big City at Prince Music Theatre, Aida at Music Theatre of Wichita, and Man of La Mancha at Sacramento Music Circus. For the camera, Andrew has choreographed for Comedy Central's "Stella", the film "Holey Habits", as well as commercials for G-Shock and The Showtime Network/Apple Computers. Teaching credits include instruction in modern, musical theatre, hip-hop, jazz, ballet, and lyrical, at Broadway Dance Center, The Edge P.A.C., Millennium Dance Complex, University of Cincinnati CCM, University of Michigan, Pepperdine University, SUNY Potsdam, Rochester School of the Arts, and numerous national conventions, studios and performing arts camps. Andrew's performing highlights include original Broadway casts of Wicked and Annie Get Your Gun, and the closing Broadway revival company of How to Succeed... He has toured national and internationally with West Side Story, and performed Off-Broadway in Michael John La Chiusa's Little Fish. Other performing credits include Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, The Hollywood Bowl, and numerous regional theatres.


Martha NicholsMartha Nichols
is a teacher and choreograher at CC & Company in Raleigh, NC for their competition team. Most recently, Martha was a Top 10 Finalist on the nationally televised FOX show So You Think You Can Dance. Martha began dancing at the early age of two. Over the years, she has studied various dance styles, including jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, modern, contemporary jazz, and hip hop dancing. Her passion for dance has given her numerous opportunities to travel the country to work with world reknowned Choreographers including Jason Parsons, Lauren Adams, Wes Veldink, Dee Caspary, Mandy Moore, Brian Friedman, Nick Bass, Tabitha & Napoleon D'umo and others.

Jay FaganJay Fagan
A Donald O'Connor in the making, this 5'6", brown hair, blue eyed hoofer made his debut as a featured artist in Lasting Impressions starring Bill Acosta in 1998 at the Las Vegas Luxor Casino/Hotel. Born and raised in Chicago, Jay has been trained by the very best tap dancers in the business including Gregory Hines, Henry La Tang, Sam Weber, Lane Alexander and Savion Glover. His polished performances have been seen by the President of the U.S. at the Kupio Dance Festival in Finland, The Chicago Human Rhythm Project, and a multitude of conventions, master workshops, and studios around the world. Beyond his talents of tap, he has studied all mediums of dance including jazz, modern, and ballet, and is a highly sought after instructor and choreographer. He's taught for DEA, Kansas Tap Festival, and the Chicago Human Rhythm Project. Jay has choreographed pieces for Chicago's foremost tap company, ETC, and a variety of revues in Atlantic City and Las Vegas. He received the Presidential Scholar Award and American Dance Award. One of the hottest up-and-coming artists of the millennium, watch for Jay's added sense of humor in his master classes!

Marcus Alford Marcus R. Alford (Jazz)
Born in Tripoli, Libya, Marcus found his way to several continents as an Air Force brat. He eventually landed at the University of Alabama, where he earned a B.A. degree. Inspired by his dance teachers, he headed to Chicago where he choreographed, taught, danced, and toured with Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago for a decade. Mr. Alford has been on the faculty of every major dance association including D.M.A., D.E.A., Internationale Tanz Werkstatt, Southeastern Regional Ballet Association, Boston Dance Teachers Club, Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, and many others. Marcus' high energy jazz classes have also inspired students at the Festival of the World in Hungary, The American College Dance Festival, The International Ballet Competition, Jackson, Mississippi, Hubbard Street Dance Studio, Chicago, and the North Carolina School of the Arts. In 1986 Mr. Alford founded "JAZZ ON TAP" (the Metro Atlanta Jazz and Tap Dance Festival) which has grown to be one of the largest dance events of its kind in the U.S. In 1991 he authored Jazz Danceology, now a standard in the libraries of jazz dancers and teachers everywhere. Alford's company, Jazz Dance Theatre South, has entertained audiences throughout the US, presenting the highest calibre of concert jazz and tap since 1986. Mr. Alford has perfomed in and/or choreographed many award winning industrials and TV/video projects. His "Customer is King" (for Media Mix, London, England/Atlanta, GA) won a Telly Award for outstanding television and video production and "Alcatel is here!" (for the Networld/Interop Communications Show) won the best show award. With Gus Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, Marcus danced "The Rehearsal", an Emmy Award winner. His industrial works include Kohler Corporation, Sprint, I.B.M., NFL Commissioners, and Milliken Carpets. His concert choreography is used by companies throughout the dance world. Along with his wife Annie Day, Mr. Alford serves as Owner/Artistic Director of Dancentre South in metro Atlanta. Marcus loves to share the wonderful art and excitement of dance with others!



Nicole Ruth Snelson Nicole Ruth Snelson
Nikki Snelson most recently appeared in the Broadway Revival of Sweet Charity with Christina Applegate. Nicole will start rehearsals soon for the upcoming Broadway musical, Legally Blonde. She will play Brook Wyndam, the aerobics instructor on trial for killing her husband. Other upcoming projects include the Singapore premiere of Tick,Tick...BOOM! in September. Nicole has been seen on Desperate Housewives, in the Showtime movie Reefer Madness, and as Chelsea on ABC's All My Children. Nicole's other television and film appearances include The Young and the Restless, The Miss America Pageant, Guiding Light, The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and The Today Show, as well as Julie Taymor's Across The Universe for Revolution Films in the fall. On Broadway, Nicole originated the role of 'Winnie Tate' in the revival of Annie Get Your Gun with Bernadette Peters. She also appeared in the concert version of Chess starring Josh Groban. National tours include playing 'Susan' in Jonathon Larson's Tick, Tick...BOOM!, Showboat, Hello Dolly! with Carol Channing, and Disney's Beauty and the Beast. When she's not performing, Nicole choreographs and teaches around the country. She has been on staff for The Millenium Dance Complex and The Edge in Los Angeles, as well and at the Broadway Dance Center. Nicole is currently on staff for StarQuest International/ConQuest Dance Intensives.



Michelle Kittrell Michelle Kittrell
most recently appeared in the Broadway hit, Hairspray, as the dance captain as well as playing the role of Penny Pingleton. Other Broadway credits include All Shook Up, Bebe "Bubbles" Baker in Urban Cowboy, the Senator's Girlfriend in Sweet Smell of Success starring John Lithgow, Seussical starring Rosie O'Donnell, Footloose, Wonderful Town (Encores) and Grease! Michelle also toured the U.S. with Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as well as Europe playing the role of Lorraine in 42nd Street. She has performed regionally as Velma Kelly in Chicago, Evelyn Nesbit in Ragtime, Graziella in West Side Story, in addition to working with Tommy Tune in the workshop of Easter Parade. On television she has appeared on "Law & Order", " Live with Regis and Kelly", "Broadway: An American Musical", 2001 "Miss America Pageant" with Tony Danza, 2004 "Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade", "This is the Moment" with Donny Osmond as well as numerous appearances on the "Today Show" and "Good Morning America." In addition to her performing, Michelle teaches musical theatre and audition workshops as well as tap, jazz, and lyrical in NYC and across the country. Michelle was also named one of the "top 10 tap dancers in the US and Canada" in the Gregory Hines National Tap Challenge. Angela Brickhouse Angela Brickhouse
Angela Brickhouse, hip hop/contemporary instructor and choreographer, has been performing and competing nationwide for the past twelve years. She has had the opportunity to study in Los Angeles and New York with such known choreographers as Marty Kudelka, Brian Friedman, and Wes Veldink, and was selected as a featured performer in pieces by Nick Bass, Tabitha and Napoleon D’Umo, Dee Caspary, Mandy Moore, Jason Parsons, and Lauren Adams. Angela has received recognition as Elite Dancer of the Year at LA dance Magic 2005, and was chosen for the Assistant Teacher Award at Company Dance 2006. She was also named Senior Miss Dance Explosion at WCDE 2006. Along with hip hop and contemporary Angela is also advanced in tap, musical theater, jazz, modern lyrical, and funk. Most recently, she was selected to attend an audition with Twyla Tharp in New York City for an upcoming Broadway musical.




Alex Estornel Alex Estornel
Biography: Cuban American, originally from Miami, Florida, Alex began his training in Theatre and Dance at the age of sixteen. He studied intensively at the Academy of Dance Arts, Top Hat Dance Center, and Dallas Metropolitan Ballet in Dallas Texas. After attending Southern Methodist University he made the move to Los Angeles, California to continue his training and begin his dance and acting career. Studying aggresively under Masters of Dance such as Joe Tremaine, Doug Caldwell, Liz Imperio, Margueritte Derricks, Jackie Sleight, Michael Rooney, and many more, Alex began his career on the big screen. He was first cast in Austin Powers I and II, then immediately was chosen to dance for Cher (Do You Believe In Love Tour). From that point he was discovered by Britney Spears and went on an international and national tour for two years and numerous music videos with the reigning queen of pop. His next step up the dance ladder, after dancing with Britney, was the JLo international tour with Jennifer Lopez, along with various music videos. His last stint on the road was in 2004 with the legendary Latin Artist Gloria Estefan for her farewell tour. After nearly four years on the road, Alex decided to stay stationary and work on different projects in L.A. such as commercials for Gap, Old Navy, Chrysler/Dodge, Taco Bell, Budweiser/Bud Lt, Albertsons, UPS, and many others. He can also be seen in recent TV episodes for Drew Carey Show, Will and Grace, Scrubs, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Charmed. Recently he has returned to the big screen, appearing in "Miss Congeniality 2", and currently working on "The Big Stan" starring Rob Schreiner. Through the years he has completed numerous works of choreography for dance companies and studios around the country and is happy to be joining the StarQuest as a member of the ConQuest Dance Intensive Faculty.


Steve Sirico Steve Sirico
Steve has been performing and producing shows worldwide for over twenty-five years. He is internationally known as part of the exciting Jazz Adagio act, D'Valda &Sirico, which received rave reviews. Credits include "Scala " in Barcelona, Casino Estoril, Portugal, Theatre Royal, Oxford, England, Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas, Teatro Nacional, Buenos Aires, Hotel Tequendama, Bogota, Columbia, on Broadway as guest artists for Dance Masters of America, guest artists with Wayne Sleep's smash hit "Dash," Dominion Theatre, London, England. Featured artists in two Royal Command Performances in England and Spain, D'Valda & Sirico's many television credits include "David Letterman", "Star Search", "The Hot Shoe Show", "Tarde Para Todos", as well as variety shows in Spain, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, Portugal and Argentina. His innovative Jazz technique is on the cutting edge, combining Traditional, Musical Theater, and Funky styles. Steve has choreographed for TV, theatres, and nightclubs in England, Spain, Hong Kong, France, and the United States. Co-artistic Director of the D'Valda & Sirico Dance Centre, in Fairfield, Connecticut Steve's students have gone on to receive scholarships and contracts to American Ballet Theatre, Boston Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Nashville Ballet, Ballet Hispanico, Hartford Ballet as well as the national tours of "Fosse" and "Fame". The D'Valda & Sirico Dance Company was one of only four companies world wide chosen to perform at the 25th Annual Aberdeen International Arts Festival in Scotland. Steve has been on the Dance Educators of America Teachers Training School Faculty for the past seven years and has taught as guest faculty for Mt. Holyoke College, Michigan State University, The University of Arkansas, Yale University, and Fairfield University. He has taught Master Classes in Jazz and Adagio all over the world including residencies in England, Costa Rica, and Mexico. He was invited to present "partnering" workshops at the 2003 Dance Teacher Magazine's Summer Teacher's Conference in New York City and returned to the Conference's faculty in the Summer of 2004.



Eric John Campros Eric John Campros (Hip Hop, Lyrical)
Eric began his career at age 13 playing Peter on the hit television show "Saved By the Bell." He has appeared on numerous series including Roseanne, The Wonder Years, Star Trek, Deep Space Nine, Law and Order, and The Profiler. Eric fell in love with dancing at the age of 15, when he had to dance in a scene for a film titled "Afterthoughts." After studying Ballet in St. Petersburg, Russia, for one year, he moved to Los Angeles. He received scholarships from Edge, LA, Steps, and Alvin Ailey in NYC. Eric has extensive training in all facets of dance including jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and he studied modern Horton technique at Alvin Ailey and ballet with Giadda Ferrone. He toured nationally with Aaliyah, also appearing in two of her videos. He then went on to tour with The Backstreet Boys on their "Millennium World Tour" and last year appeared with Mikaila in various concerts throughout the U.S. Eric appeared on the NAACP and Blockbuster Award telecasts. In 2001 he appeared on the MTV Video Music Awards with Britney Spears. He's choreographed and danced with the boy band Real Soul. Last year he danced onstage with Usher to promote his DVD "Evolution" and toured Germany with the band B3. Currently he is performing with HipHop sensation Lil' Kim and Bad Boy recording artist Alyssa in various venues across the U.S. and abroad. Among other regional shows across the US, Eric has done "Grease" and "Hello Dolly" on Broadway. Eric teaches nationally for DMA and DEA, and is currently on staff at Peridance, and Dance Space Center in NYC.



Barbara Duffy Barbara Duffy (Tap)
According to Gregory Hines, "Barbara Duffy is one of the most inventive tappers around today." Barbara's performance highlights include The Gregory Hines Show, where she was a featured dancer, actress and choreographer, Gala for the President, performing with Gregory Hines before President and Mrs. Bill Clinton and as dance captain and featured dancer in Brenda Bufalino's American Tap Dance Orchestra. Barbara performs as a featured soloist across the United States and overseas, including London's Queen Elizabeth Hall, where she was hailed as "a riveting performer" by the Independent. BARBARA DUFFY & COMPANY, her own company of all women tappers, "brought down the house with their musical sensitivity" (Star Ledger, NJ) at the Duke Theatre for Tap City 2002. They have also performed at Lincoln Center Out-of-Doors, and at The Duke for Tap City 2001 and 2003. A highly sought after teacher, Barbara has taught at numerous workshops and festivals in 14 countries around the world. When not on the road, Barbara holds classes in New York City at Broadway Dance Center. Her greatest inspirations are Brenda Bufalino, the late Leon Collins and the late Gregory Hines.




Danny Wallace
Danny Wallace (Tap)
Danny is originally from Northern California, now living in NYC. At the age of 18, Danny worked with the Las Vegas Company of Tap Dogs and also performed with the show in cities throughout the country as well as Germany, Paris, and Asia. He has been featured in the film "America's Sweethearts" (with Julia Roberts/Catherine Zeta Jones), numerous industrials (for such companies Coca Cola, Audi, and Compaq), as well as the opening act for Leann Rimes. Danny currently teaches master classes and workshops throughout the country and is on Faculty with DMA and New York City Dance Alliance. Danny's recent choreography credits include choreography for Arts In Motion (a youth dance company at Broadway Dance Center), a Little Tikes Toy Industrial and an equity run of Funny Girl in NC. Danny is currently developing his own Tap Company, and also teaches in NYC at Broadway Dance Center. He has co-written/choreographed an original dance musical entitled, At The Diner, that will be featured this summer at the International Dance Festival in NYC at the Duke theater.




Mike Rincon Mike Rincon (Hip Hop)
Mike is originally from Phoenix, Arizona where he started dancing at the age of 16. He has extensive training in all facets of dance including jazz, lyrical, ballet, salsa, adagio, swing, hip hop, and b-boying. A well-rounded performer, Mike¹s credits vary from choreographer to dancer in all realms of the business including Las Vegas shows, television, commercial and industrials. His stage credits include Jeff Kutash's Splash, 1994 Dance Down Under, Aries, Jumping Jive, Storm, and All You Can Dance. Choreography credits include Star Search 1993, Sabado Hegante, Celebrity Cruises 1996-1997, Splash Las Vegas 1998, Culture Shock, Phoenix Mercury Hip Hop Squade, Star Caster, and Star Search 2003. Mike spends much of his time teaching master classes at Let's Dance Camp, Thunderstruck, Taking It To The Streets, and ConQuest Dance Intensives. Mike has his own break-dancing crew, which competes' world wide in b-boy battles and is currently in the process of opening his own dance studio.



Andrew Nemr Andrew Nemr (Tap)
Andrew Nemr began dancing at the age of 3 1/2 and is a proud member of TiDii, a new group by Savion Glover, most recently featured in Improvography at The Joyce Theater in New York City; the opening ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival 2001, Cannes, France; the Jerry Lewis Telethon; the 2002 Winter Olympics Arts Festival in Salt Lake City, Utah; and the 2002 Nijinsky Awards in Monaco. Mr. Nemr has been a featured soloist in many venues including Showcase of Stars at the PNC Bank Arts Center, NJ; in Vaudeville 2000 at La MaMa, Etc, NY; the annual National Tap Dance Day Tap Extravaganza at Town Hall Theatre, NY; Dance Attacks, at Teddy's, Williamsburg, Brooklyn; and in East Meets West with Kuni Makami at the Blue Note Jazz Club, NY. He was a guest teacher and performer in TAP 2000 and TAP 2001 at the Bloomsbury Theatre, London, England and at Tap City 2003, The New York City Tap Festival, at The Duke Theater, New York City, NY. Mr. Nemr performed in A Great Night in Harlem alongside tap legends Clark Terry, Jimmy Heath, James Carter and John Faddis at the Apollo Theatre in New York City. Most recently he was a featured guest of Harry Connick, Jr.'s at Proctors Theatre, in Schenectady, NY. Mr. Nemr has been blessed to receive the guidance of many of the great tap dancers including Eddie Brown, LaVaughn Robinson, Barbara Duffy, Dianne Walker, Jimmy Slyde, James "Buster" Brown, LeRoy Myers, Henry LeTang, Ernest "Brownie" Brown, Henry "Phace" Roberts, Savion Glover, Ted Levy and Gregory Hines. Mr. Nemr teaches regularly at Broadway Dance Center, NY.


Tracie Stanfield Tracie Stanfield (Jazz, Lyrical)
Tracie is the Artistic Director of Synthesis Dance Project, a concert dance company in NYC. Her choreography has been seen at The International Dance Festival, Hollywood Central Performing Arts Center, The Elan Awards, Jazz Dance Festival Artist Excellence Award, and Jazz Dance World Congress. She has created work for Tapestry Dance Company, Susan Chambers Dance Company, Mercedes Benz, The Ricki Lake Show, Underground Dance Project, NY Performer¹s Project, Mirrored Musicals Off-Broadway Productions, Arts On The Hudson Festival, and Vital Theatre Company, among others. Ms. Stanfield has served as creative consultant for numerous productions throughout the US and Europe. Originally from Texas, Tracie has worked with Acia Gray (Tapestry Dance Company), Bruce Wood (White Oak Project), Dee McCandless, Heywood "Woody" McGriff, Keith Cross, Ballet Hysell, as well as performing in numerous concert dance, music video and industrial performances. Currently on the faculty of Broadway Dance Center in New York City, Tracie continues to teach master classes and workshops throughout the country. Some of her projects include: The Rock School, University of South Carolina¹s Summer Dance Conservatory, Keystone State Dance Festival, Panoply Choreography Festival, Canadian Dance Masters, American Theatre Dance Workshop, and Connecticut Ballet Center. She has served as a guest teacher for Dance Masters of America, NADAA, Kids Artistic Revue, Dance Expo 2003, and Centenary Stage Company Young Performers¹ Workshop. She is on faculty with Jammnation, 5678 Showtime, and ConQuest Dance Intensives.

Chris Hale Chris Hale (Lyrical)
Began his career as director, choreographer, and teacher at The Hudson Valley Conservatory under the direction of Samuel E Wright ("Mufasa" Disney's Lion King on Broadway) and his wife Amanda. He adapted and directed a children's production of William Shakespeare's "A Mid Summer Night's Dream" as well as choreographed "Retribution" an original ballet for Images Dance Company. Professional credits include KTU's Miracle on 34th where he's performed with such recording artists as Mary J. Blige, Mya, Deborah Cox, Tamia, Edwin Star, Gloria Gaynor, and Michael Jackson. He appeared as an ensemble dancer in The Houston Grand Opera's production of "Carmen" with director/choreographer Michele Assaf. Most recently he performed with international singing sensation Anastacia at the FIFA World Cup Final Draw in Busan, Korea. Television credits include Disney concert series with Jason Raize and Jessica Simpson, and Chris has also appeared regularly on Saturday Night Live with such guest hosts as Al Gore and Selma Hayek. Teaching opportunities have allowed Chris to travel around the country, to Canada and parts of Southern Italy. He is currently on staff at several studios including The Hudson Valley Conservatory, For Dancers Only, and at Broadway Dance Center in New York City.
