Virtual Event Rules

Submission

All Virtual Competitions will adhere to the current StarQuest Rules unless otherwise specified for that specific event. All Routines will be adjudicated by the same Judging and Scoring criteria as any on site StarQuest event.

Submissions can be recordings from ANY conventions/competitions, not just StarQuest. You may also use videos recorded in studio, at recitals, at home, or any other performances or rehearsals.

Judging

Each Routine will be adjudicated by 3 StarQuest Judges. All Routines will receive 3 judges critiques and a score sheet that includes your adjudication.
A Top 3 will be announced in each Age Class, Division, and Level.
First Place Routines will receive Cash Prizes.

Title

Soloists may add Title for an additional fee.

1 winner and 2 Runners Up will be announced for Title in each Age Class.
Title Winners will receive a Member Jacket, Acrylic Trophy, and a Medal.
1^st + 2^nd Runner Ups will receive a Plaque and a Medal. These will be mailed to the studio.

Photogenic

Digital Photogenic Contest registration can be entered through the Studio Profile. The price for photogenic is $25 per submission. Photogenic winners will receive an Acrylic Trophy mailed to the studio. They will also have their photo shared on StarQuest’s Social Media platform.
