StarQuest Dance Competition

During our #SQAndover2 event, a special trio took the stage and reminded us all why we love dance—because it’s for everyone. Jordan (22), Samantha (46), and Beth (39) may be at different points in their lives, but their shared passion brought them together in the most beautiful way. Their journey began at their studio’s adult jazz class at the Boys and Girls Club. Late-night rehearsals, balancing work and family, and pushing past doubts—this trio did it all. And when they finally stepped on stage, their energy, joy, and love for tap lit up the room. For Samantha, dance started as a way to connect with her daughter, who also competes. She proves that it’s never too late to try something new—even hip-hop, which she’s eager to explore next! Jordan, a former dancer, returned to the stage after college, making this her very first competition. She brought her signature sass and infectious energy, showing that passion never fades. And for Beth, whose young son just started dancing, returning to tap felt like coming home. She lives by the motto “Do it scared,” proving that courage and dance go hand in hand. Their story is a reminder that dance has no age limit. It’s about friendship, growth, and never losing that spark to learn, move, and express yourself.
